“In the Beginning, God” - Genesis 1:1-2 – (Eastside Baptist/Sun PM/Oct 6, 2013)
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

1. In the beginning, God was there.
Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. (Isa. 46:9, NIV)
