1 Peter 5:5b

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."

1 Peter 5:6-7

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

1. Humbly consider the needs of others before your own.

1 Peter 5:5b

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."

Luke 22:24

A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest.

1. Humbly trust the sovereign hand of God.

1 Peter 5:6-7

Main Idea:

Living out the grace that we have been shown by God means….

Humbly considering others’ needs before my own, and…

Humbly trusting the sovereign hand of God.
